AWARD FOR THEIR TRACK RECORD IN THE AGRIFOOD INDUSTRY
We’d like to share our delight at receiving the award for our track record in the Cantabrian Agrifood Industry at the Concha Espina de Torrelavega Theatre yesterday.
Award giving event organised by Cantabria at the Table of the daily Diario Montañés run by José Luis Pérez; and which has important sponsors like the Agriculture, Cattle-farming & Fishing Agency, the O.D.E.C.A (the Cantabrian food quality office), BM Supermercados Group and Caixa Bank.
Our good work coupled with our battle to maintain 100% of the jobs in Cantabria and far from third countries to create wealth and maintain our tinned foods tradition, seeking maximum quality and always using 100% anchovies from the spring Cantabrian campaign, innovation in the search for new products like our Limited Edition of the double Anchovy Gilda, our commitment to society and the environment; likewise maintaining without shortcuts a stable quality control, customer service line, all of which has led to our winning the FIRST PRIZE FOR THE TRACK RECORD IN THE AGRIFOOD SECTOR among the 7 awards and approximately 80 candidates for the same!!!
One of the 7 highly deserved awards went to Chef Toni González ‘Restaurante Nuevo Molino’ who received the Award for catering and highlighted value.
A wonderful and very moving award went to our Chef Nacho Basurto who sadly passed away a few months ago and which his family received ‘in memoriam’. The footprint of our master and genius who will always live on in our memory, a big hug for him and his family.
We should like to thank José Luís Pérez first of all for his unconditional support and the entire team of Diario Montañés; Guillermo Blanco, Minister for Agriculture, Cattle-farming & Fishing; Marta López, the Director and all the attendees who accompanied us yesterday.
And, of course, this award is dedicated to the entire CODESA team and all of you who are undoubtedly our best prize; thank you for your trust, support, friendship and the best ambassadors ever in the world.
